The car has a new front cross member. The old unit was much worse than we thought ,when it was laid out on the ground.  A twist of at least 15mm was evident in the LH upper wishbone mounting point. It is horrible.

The new unit is aligned and solidly attached. There is evidence of many a crash and restraighten that dose not give a good appearance. We re-welded many spots to reattach and the panel beater will also need to do some additional work.

Notice the surface rust on the under side of the car. I have rust converted the entire under side including the new front cross member. This is the dull appearance on everything.
