November 2022 Whiteline Twilight Rally Series

November 2022 Whiteline Twilight Rally Series

Team Redbackracing this year have again returned to the Whiteline Twilight Rally Series at Sydney Motorsport Park. However the first outing this season had a very retro feel about it…. The BMW M3 was away having some maintenance work in preparation for future Twilight rounds. So instead the team brought out an old fan favourite…. Renault Spider!

We had 4 sponsors from Bahco join us at the event to see the hundreds of cars participate and again the spider stood out from the crowd, not only for its unique looks but also the engine note that would have to be one of loudest in the field!

A great run out for the team and great conditions to be enjoyed by all, next Twilight rally is mid December where we look forward to sharing an update and pictures of the BMW returning to Sydney Motorsport Park.

Until then, click here to see the gallery of pictures from this months twilight rally.

Lows and Highs in Rounds 1 and 2 of Qatar Touring Car Championship

Lows and Highs in Rounds 1 and 2 of Qatar Touring Car Championship

The first two rounds of the Qatar Touring Car Championship happened last weekend at Losail international circuit.  Unfortunately after Qualifying 4th the car developed an electrical fault on the start line and was pushed from the starting grid.  With this penalty applied and the car repaired for round 2 a strong start from the 11th place at the rear of the grid to the 3rd step of the podium as a satisfying end to a frustrating start of the championship.

Almost ready to go for Targa Tassie 2014!

Almost ready to go for Targa Tassie 2014!

With just over a month to go until Targa Tasmania 2014 the team have been busy preparing both cars for the gruelling 6 day event that is Targa Tasmania. The focus on preparation has been on the area of suspension tuning, with our KW Suspension setup as well as replacing all fluids and pads using products from Motul and EBC respectively.
We have also been upgrading our in car video setup on both cars (We will run a story on this shortly) – A big thank you to RaceRecall for all their assistance.
The team have a clear goal in mind with Targa to finish off the season just as they started it with a 1st and 2nd.  Targa is and will be the most difficult of the events to complete this ambitious goal, but if the team do so they will have finished first and 2nd in every round of the championship!!  Something which will exceed everybody in the teams goals and expectations!

We would like to thank all our support crew who have helped with the preparation of the cars and hope that the changes will bring us additional race speed.
